Demise of the Demon King Read online

  After this Yugandhar turned towards Suvarya.

  'Now you also have to leave Suvarya. You should return to Naaglok.'

  'No, Naagraj. I am a warrior too, how could I leave you alone, knowing that you are surrounded with so many dangers? I'll not leave. Also I don't have anyone in my life except you, so where I will go? It's my swear to youNaagraj, you will not stay away from me.'

  Yugandhar was compelled, 'Ok, then come with me.' Yugandhar holds Suvarya's hand and they both proceeded.

  While on the other side, after killing Tribhuj, Tejasvi was wandering in the dense forest. Suddenly, a bright light burst and one spirit appeared in front of Tejasvi. Tejavsi lied below on his knees seeing him, his eyes were filled with tears. This was the spirit of one of the greatest warrior of Aaryavart, i.e. 'Vikramajit'.

  'Pitashree (father)……. ' Tejasvi joined his hand and laid down is head in front of him.

  'Get up Tejasvi, I am not an alive person, I am just a spirit. I had vowed before my death, that I will leave this earth only after the demise of the Demon King Markesh.' Vikramajit made Tejasvi aware of the reality.

  'I know father, that you are not alive. I have seen you only after some months, but it seems that years are passed, so these emotions are quite obvious. But actually, I am totally satisfied to see you.'

  'Don't be so emotional, Tejasvi. Our first goal is to get the divine Vijay Dhanush. I have arrived here to help you.'

  'Then tell me father, what I have to do for the demise of the Demon King?'

  'I don't know how to kill that wretch demon, my son. But I want you get aware of that deceit, which ditched you as well as all your four brothers.'

  'Deceit, what type of deceit, Father? And my brothers are also ditched, they are fine or not?'

  'All your brothers are fine, Tejasvi. When Tribhuj stabbed you, I was the one who saved your life. When Yugandhar falls from the higher hills, and was injured, I have only treated him. But the real fact is, that I have not helped you for killing Tribhuj.'

  'Oh..you were the one who saves our lives every time. But regarding Tribhuj, I know the person who helped me. He was 'Kalnemi', father of the Demon King Markesh.'

  'That was the actual deceit, my son. He was not Kalnemi, he was the demon's mentor Bhairavnath. When your wounds were healed, he reached you. Before that he helped Suryam for killing Adheem, that's why I allowed him to come near you, because I was not knowing the way, how Tribhuj could be killed. Like that only, he turned as 'Vindheshwar' and helped Yugandhar to kill Danshak. And even when Suryam and Akhand left Adheem alive, that Bhairavnath played such a game, that Suryam got compelled to kill Adheem.'

  'It means that, my all brothers are fine, and they have defeated their respective opponents.'

  'Yes my son, but this victory was a deceit. Demon's mentor Bhairavnath was aware about the fact that, if all four of you will reach to the Demon King, then Markesh will not be able to face you all. That's why he helped you in killing the siblings of the Demon King Danshak, Tribhuj and Adheem. So that after their death, their spirit and power could be transferred to the Demon King Markesh. Now that Demon King is extremely powerful, it will be very tough for all four of you to defeat him.'

  'What a game he played, and that Demon King. He sacrificed his own siblings, just to increase his powers. The sinful person like him, should be surely killed, father. Now you guide me.'

  'You have to build an army, Tejasvi. Demon King Markesh have two akshauhiniarmy in Patallok, and you are just four. You have to build up an army to face him.'

  'An army. How this is possible? Who will help us in thisPatallok?'

  'The Demon King, his brothers and his other warriors were attacking Prithviloksince thirty years. They captured many Kings, Princes and other great warriors, and still they are imprisoned. They are around one lakh. On this full moon night, Markesh is going to sacrifice them all in front of his Kuldevi Mahakali, so that he could receive an infinite power. He needs two more warriors for this sacrifice. Bhairavnath has left in the search of those two warriors, and he will surely bring someone from Prithvilok. But before that, you should be trapped in his deceit, you have to be captured by Bhairavnath.'

  'It means I have to be imprisoned willingly, but what's the plan?'

  'The prison where that wretch Bhairavnath use to keep his prisoners is just few miles away from the palace of the Demon King Markesh, it takes almost two prahars to cover that distance. There are about one lakh demon troops, who guard that prison. You will be a prisoner for Bhairavnath, you have to go to his prison, and have to meet his prisoners who lost all their hope. You have to encourage all the depressed warriors, to fight against the Demon King Markesh. You have to lead them as the leader of that army, along with your brothers. Then only there is a possibility to defeat Markesh.'

  'As you wish father, but there is still one question in my mind.'

  'I know what you are thinking of. Yugandhar has entered in the region of the Demon King. Akhand and Suryam killed their opponent Adheem in just two days, but they are unaware of the path that's why they are wandering here and there in Patallok, they are just fifty miles away from here, but they do not know the right path. Soon all four of you will be gathered together, because I'll bring them to the right path. And regarding the journey to the prison of Bhairavnath, I am very sure that, Bhairavnath will surely play a deceit to capture you. Because you are the first person to reach here.'

  'It means that, Bhairavnath will come soon to capture me.'

  'Yes you are right, he'll come to trap you. And you have to get trapped. Now I have to leave, so that I can bring your other brothers to help you. Till then you try to reach the palace of the Demon King, Bhairavnath will surely try to stop you.'

  'I got it father, now permit me. I shall proceed now.'

  Vikramajit's spirit disappeared from that place, and Tejasvi proceeded towards the path as directed by Vikramajit. After the journey of a prahar, Tejasvi was astonished to see the injured Suryam in front of him. Suryam was injured and lying on the ground, Tejasvi rushed and came near him.

  'Suryam,..what… happened to you? How you got injured?'

  'I got injured while fighting with one of the siblings of the Demon King, Adheem. But I have killed that wretch demon.'

  Tejasvi was astonished to listen that, because he was knowing that Akhand and Suryam were with each other while killing Adheem. Tejasvi understood that, this was the conspiracy about which actually he was waiting for. He smiled in his mind.

  'Suryam, you need treatment, come with me.'

  'Yes brother. But firstly you come with me, I want to take you to one special place. After that my wounds be healed, but now it is important to reach that place.'

  'Where is that place, Suryam?'

  'Come, I'll take you there.'

  After that Tejasvi and Suryam stepped towards an unknown place. Soon after some time, Tejasvi kept his steps on a special part of the ground. At the next moment only, a huge prison falls on him. Tejasvi was waiting for it, Suryam turned into his original form. He was actually the Demon's mentor Bhairavnath. On his command, the demon troops surrounded him with the spears in their hand.

  'Capture him, and take him to the place, where all the prisoners of sacrifice are captured. And one more thing Tejasvi, don't even try to touch this prison, otherwise you'll be burned.'

  'You'll surely get the reply for this deceit, Bhairavnath. My brothers will rescue me soon.'

  'You are just a warrior for sacrifice, Tejasvi. No one in this world can be rescued from this prison alive, only a demon could touch this prison. If anybody else will try touch this prison, then he will be burned.'

  Tejasvi was distressed listening this. But surprisingly, Tejasvi pulled out a poniard from his waist and injured his own hands, he dropped his splatters of blood, out of the prison on the ground. Two of the horses were bounded with the prison of Tejasvi, to pull it. Those horses pulled his prison, and within a praharthey brought him to the prisons of Bhairavnath. Hidimb 'brother of the
Demon king Markesh' was present there to welcome him.

  'Hidimb, I have to arrange one more sacrifice for Markesh, that's why I am leaving. Till then you take care of Tejasvi.'

  'You don't worry, Gurudev. I have to avenge him for the previous defeat also. And any human cannot touch the bars of this prison, only a demon can touch or break these bars. He cannot be rescued from here, you can proceed.'

  Bhairavnath set out from there. Hidimb and Tejasvi were staring towards each other with blood streams in their eyes. Thereafter, Hidimb smiled and turned towards his troops

  'Soldiers, we have many days left in the full moon night. Till then, we have to take care of these captured warriors of sacrifice, I will come soon.' Hidimb left from that place.

  The splatters of blood falls from the wrist of Tejasvi on the ground somewhere in the jungle, one snake smelled that blood and started chasing that smell. Soon that snake came near the prison, in which Tejasvi was captured. Then only, the two guards of the prison looked over that snake, it turned in her original form. It was actually 'Suvarya'. Both the demon rushed towards Suvarya to attack her, Suvarya pushed one of the guard on the ground and snatched his spear. Soon she killed one of the demon, and the other one escaped from there.

  At the next moment only, Hidimb came in front of her with hundreds of demons.

  'Soldiers, just kill that serpent girl.'

  The demons rushed towards Suvarya. But then only, hundreds of arrows came from the sky and stabbed many of the demons. When Hidimb looked over the person, who aimed these arrows, he was stunned. The bow which shots these arrows, was in the hand of the eldest son of Vikramajit i.e. 'Tejasvi'.

  'That's not possible, how…. could you… escape from that prison?'

  'I think you should look over the prison, once again.' Tejasvi laughed at Hidimb.

  When Hidimb turned over the prison, he got another shock. Tejasvi was inside the prison also.

  'What… what type of jugglery is this?'

  'Why you are so shocked Hidimb? Do you think only demons can play deceits with us? Yugandhar turn as a serpent and come out from the prison.'

  'As you wish, brother.' The person inside the prison, who impersonated himself as Tejasvi, turned into a serpent and came out from the prison, without touching the bars of the prison. He was actually Yugandhar 'The King of Serpents'.

  'It seems that you are in a great shock, Hidimb. So let me clear your doubts, before killing you. What do you think? Only your mentor Bhairavnath can play mind games, we cannot? I have met Yugandhar earlier only, before your mentor Bhairavnath could ditch me by impersonating himself as Suryam. Yugandhar is an Ichhadhaari Naag, there is no prison in this world, which can bound him. He impersonated me, and was wandering in the forest, because we were aware about the deceit, that your mentor Bhairavnath wanted to play. According to the plan, your mentor reached Yugandhar, and assumed that he was Tejasvi. But when Yugandhar got captured, he injured his wrist and dropped the splatter of his blood on the ground. Suvarya smelled that blood and brought me here. Now I will kill you all, and will rescue these warriors, who are tolerating this pain since years.'

  Tejasvi cleared all the doubts of Hidimb. Hidimb could not think what to do now, but then also he challenged Tejasvi.

  'Come out from your dreams Tejasvi. There are thousands of prison at this place, in which we have around one lakh prisoners. If anyone of you will try to touch the bars of these prison, then you will be burned with fire, and if you will try to break this through your arrows, then these prisons will blast, and all their prisoners will be burned alive through a rapid fire. Only a demon could touch or destroy the bars of this prison.'

  Tejasvi and Yugandhar were confused. But Tejasvi was having much patience, he challenged Hidimb 'If that's the condition, then I'll compel you to open these prisons, Hidimb.' Tejasvi raised his bow.

  But before his arrows could reach Hidimb, The one lakh security guards of that prison came in between to protect him, also they rushed towards Tejasvi. Seeing this, Tejasvi signaled Yugandhar looking over him. Yugandhar left that place and rushed towards a tree. Now only Tejasvi was in front of the demon's army. It was unable to guess why Tejasvi didn't raised his weapons and was waiting for the army to gather in a proper que. The demon's army gathered and rushed towards Tejasvi. Hidimb was behind those troops, but at the very next moment his screaming sound was heard.

  The axe of Yugandhar was on the neck of Hidimb. The last que of the demon's army turned towards him, the rest followed them too.

  Yugandhar warned them all, 'Just think about it, demons, if you are alive and this brother of Markesh dies, then what punishment you all will receive from the Demon King. It's better to disarm yourself, you don't have any other option.'

  The demons were compelled to drop their weapons.

  'Now you all leave. I don't want to see any demon here, otherwise you know what I mean.' Yugandhar tightened his grip

  All the demon troops, dropped their weapons on the ground, and left that place within a prahar. Soon that ground was filled with the weapons, now that place was appearing to be a huge Arsenal.

  'Now let me go, all the demons left.' Hidimb requested.

  'No you cannot, if you will go, then who will open these prisons?' Yugandhar stared at Hidmb.

  'We have the solution for this problem, he will destroy all the prisons.' This voice was of Mahabali Akhand, he signaled towards Vakrbaahu. Suryam was also with him.

  Yugandhar looked over him and removed his axe from Hidimb's neck for a while. Hidimb pushed him and rushed away.

  'Let him go, we don't need him.' Akhand stopped Yugandhar from going behind Hidimb.

  Tejasvi stood up, and rushed towards Akhand 'Glad to see you, elder.'

  'We are also glad to see, that you both are safe, little brother. The spirit of King Vikramajit has narrated us the whole story. But I want to know just one thing from you.'

  'And what's that?'

  'You know that, I am the grandson of the Demon King Markesh. After knowing this, can you trust me?'

  'What you are saying, elder? A person is identified through his Karmas, not through his birth. Although your father has not accepted us as his family, but you have fulfilled all your duties of being an eldest Prince of our kingdom, since your childhood. We can never question you. But now you are aware that the Demon King Markesh is your grandfather, can you raise your weapons in front of him?'

  'I can never accept that wretch demon as my grandfather. My weapons will rise only for justice and Dharma, and that demon king is a symbol of sin.'

  'Ok fine, elder. Just tell me, how can we get rid of this situation?'

  'I don't have the solution of this problem, it's with Suryam. Suryam command your friend Vakrbaahu.'

  'Who is he, Suryam? It seems to be a giant and well built demon.'Tejasvi was astonished looking at him.

  'He is my friend, brother. He is a demon, if he wouldn't have supported us, we can never be able to kill Adheem. He can rescue all the prisoners. Go, Vakrbaahu, destroy the prisons and rescue all the warriors.'

  'As you wish, my lord.'

  After the command of Suryam, Vakrbaahu turned into a mammoth and started breaking the prison. Tejasvi and Yugandhar were astonished to see his strength. Within a prahar all the warriors were rescued. Thereafter, all of them gathered at a definite place. Akhand, Tejasvi, Yugandhar and Suryam ascended on the higher mounds.

  All the prisoners were surprised from their sudden rescue. Akhand ascended at a higher place, so that all the one lakh warriors could see as well as listen him.

  'I and my brothers rescued you all, then also you are free from our side. We have killed the siblings of the Demon King, Tribhuj, Danshak and Adheem with our collective strength. Now it's the time for the Demon King Markesh and his brother Hidimb. We four, are going to attack his palace, not only for us, not only to get the divine Vijay Dhanush, but also to finalise your freedom, we are going for the demise of that wretch Demon King. If you all want, then you can join this war
, and can struggle for your own freedom. You all can feel pride doing that, and you can narrate the tale of your bravery in front of your family, when you will meet them. So I just want to know that, who are those brave people who will like to join us in this war, Think patiently people, because the Demon King Markesh is having around two akshauhini army in Patallok.
