Demise of the Demon King Read online

  Tejasvi stood up from the ground and resisted his attack, thereafter he pushed him back.

  'You deceived me, when you failed to defeat me in an honourable fight. But it's not so easy to defeat the eldest son of Vikramajit, you wretch demon.' Tejasvi stepped towards Tribhuj.

  But Tejasvi was losing his balance while walking towards Tribhuj, he falls on the ground.

  But suddenly a mist appeared between them, they cannot see anything. When it disappeared, Tejasvi was not there. Tribhuj was irritated to see so.

  After twenty days, when Tejasvi gained his consciousness, he found himself in a cave. He noticed that, his injuries were healed.

  'You are not completely fit, youngman. You need rest.' One aged Demon came in front of Tejasvi, and suggested him to take rest.

  'Who are you? You are a demon, then why you helped me?'

  'I am the father of that Demon King Markesh, for whose demise you have come here. I am 'Kalnemi'.'

  'Then why you saved a person, who vowed to kill your son?'

  'Because Demon King Markesh has laid down the demon's race. We are the scions of King Bali, who was blessed by Vamana Avtar. Also at present, the Vamana Avtar is the guard of King Bali's palace in Sutaalok. Because of him, we Asuras also gained reputation in the world. But Demon King Markesh and his brothers proved that, they can never want peace. They tried to misuse the divine Vijay Dhanush (Victor's bow). I have saved your life, just because I think that you are only the warrior who could defeat Demon King and his brothers, which could lead to establishment of peace on the earth.'

  'So, you will show me the path of destruction of your own son?'

  'I'll help you, but only for the demise of Tribhuj. And your three brothers, have to fight the rest of the brothers of Markesh.'

  'It means you know everything about us. Can you tell me, where my brothers are?'

  'My son Hidimb deceived you and separated you all. Now, Yugandhar might be facing the serpent demon Danshak, while Akhand and Suryam has already killed Adheem. And you must know about one secret, Tejasvi.'

  'Of which secret you are talking about?'

  'Secret of your Uncle Bhanusen, and the secret is, that he is the adopted son of former King of Vidarbh, King Bhabhuti. Actually he is the eldest son of Demon King Markesh, who is the son of Markesh and a human lady.'

  Tejasvi was shocked listening those words of Kalnemi.

  'So that's the reason why he killed my father through a deceit?' Tejasvi's fists were stressed of anger listening this.

  'The reputation of your father Vikramajit was spreaded over the whole Aaryavart. The warrior like him, has still not born. If he would be alive, then the Demon King could never fulfill his dreams.'

  'What was that dream, which can't be fulfilled until my father was alive?'

  'To destroy the whole Aaryavart, which was impossible until Vikamajit was alive. Whenever Demon King Markesh tried to attack any clan of Aaryavart, Vikramajit often reach there to protect them. That's why he was killed through a deceit.'

  Tejasvi went emotional, his eyes were wet. But at the next moment only his eyes were filled with bloodsheds.

  'Then tell me the secret of killing Tribhuj. I will be your debtor.'

  'Tribhuj is very powerful demon, the night of the full moon is special for him, he turns into werewolf at that night. You have to wait for the full moon night. Although Tribhuj is very powerful at that night, but he can be killed at that night only, and the way to kill him is only to pull out his third hand from his back.'

  'I have already tried this, but I don't think that will work.'

  'Look at the injury of your left hand, Tejasvi. It is still not healed, because this injury was given by Tribhuj, when he was in the form of a werewolf.   'That depends on you, Tejasvi. When you will be in the form of Werewolf, then Tribhuj will surely try to control your mind. And it depends on your will power, that you could control yourself or become the slave of Tribhuj. After the demise of Tribhuj, this curse will be your strength, which will be completely under your control.'

  'But for that I have to wait for a month, as yesterday only there was a full moon night, when Tribhuj transformed himself.'

  Kalnemi smiled, 'How could you say that, do you even know since how many days you were unconscious. You were unconscious since twenty three days due effect of his poison, I have treated you with many herbs, then you have returned back to your senses.'

  Tejasvi was astonished listening that, it was very tough for him to believe that he was unconscious since twenty three days. He joined his hands in front of Kalnemi, 'Thank you so much, gentleman, you have given me a new life, how would I payback this debt.'

  'It was just my duty, my son. I just want peace.'

  'Then allow me to leave. I have to step out now, so that I could reach Tribhuj before the Full moon night. I think Full Moon night might be nearer.'

  'Your guess is right, Tejasvi. You have only four days. After four days there will be a Full Moon night, before that you have to reach there.'

  'You are great, Kalnemi. This was the debt from you to the whole human race.'

  'I just want peace among Devas, Asuras and humans, Tejasvi.'

  'Now allow me, I have to kill that wretch Tribhuj.'

  'Go and kill that demon, and destroy one part of the strength of Demon King Markesh. Be victorious.'

  After the blessings of Kalnemi, Tejasvi stepped out for the final combat with Tribhuj.

  After the journey of three days, Tejasvi reached near that cave, where he fought Tribhuj earlier. He hides himself at a safe place, and waited for the Full Moon night. When one prahar was remaining in the Full Moon night, Tejasvi came near to the cave of Tribhuj.

  'Come out, you coward Tribhuj. Last time you have attacked me through a deceit, but today I've came here to reply all your conspiracies.'

  On hearing the challenge of Tejasvi, Tribhuj came out of his cave with his troops.

  'It seems that you have forgotten about the last defeat, as you have arrived again for your demise.' Tribhuj also challenged Tejasvi.

  'I was just injured Tribhuj, not defeated. And if you think you are victorious with your deceit, then I will destroy your myth today.'

  'Just see behind me, Tejasvi. Are you not scared seeing this much strength of my troops.'

  Tejasvi smiled, he laid down on the ground and evocated the divine weapon, Agneyastra. As soon as it left from the bow, a huge commotion spreaded over the demon's army. Demons rushed away to save their lives. Soon Tribhuj was all alone in front of Tejasvi.

  'Now you say, Tribhuj. No one is present here to save you? Your troops left the battlefield.' Tejasvi insinuated Tribhuj.

  Tribhuj looked over the sky, The Sun was about to set. He smiled and stared at Tejasvi. 'It seems that you have forgotten about my beast form, Tejasvi. Look over the sky you fool, soon the time will come, when you will beg for your life in front of ruthlessness of my nails.'

  'Let the time decide, that who will beg for his life, Tribhuj. See the time has come, the full moon of this night has appeared in the sky. Now show your strength with your Werewolf form. I am eager to face you.'

  When the light of moon falls on Tejasvi and Tribhuj. Both of them gone through the change in their body, slowly slowly they were transforming into a Werewolf. Tribhuj was the three handed Werewolf, like him Tejasvi also turned in a huge Werewolf, but his hands were two.

  Both the beasts clashed, and a fierce duel started among them. After a prahar also, no result came. Suddenly the third hand of Tribhuj grabbed the forehead of Tejasvi. Tejasvi became helpl
ess, he turned almost insane, and was compelled to sit on the ground. He was now under control of Tribhuj, the troops of Tribhuj surrounded him at the peak of spears. Soon hundreds of demons bounded Tejasvi with a rope and pulled that huge beast.

  Tribhuj turned again into his actual form, and stepped towards the higher throne of that cave. Tejasvi was captured and brought in that cave.

  'Look over this fool young man. He wanted to fight me, with my dark powers only. Whoever will be in the form of this beast, will be always my slave. Actually it's very sad, now you'll never be able to avenge your father and your mother's death, youngman. Demon King Markesh is victorious, and will remain victorious.' Tribhuj laughed at Tejasvi.

  The emotions of Tejasvi was overshadowing his mind, and this resulted in destruction of the hypnotism effect of Tribhuj on him. Tejasvi roared and thrown those demons along with the rope who holded him down. Seeing this, Tribhuj also turned into a Werewolf and attacked him.

  This time Tejasvi saved himself from his attack, and without wasting anytime, he pushed Tribhuj on the floor and ascended on his back. Before that Tribhuj could do anything else, Tejasvi grabbed that hand at his back and used all his strength to pull it out.

  'Aaa..rrr…ghh'. The echoes of this roar of Tribhuj spreaded over the whole cave.

  Soon, the third hand of Tribhuj was detached from his body, and was in Tejasvi's hand. Tribhuj falls on the floor, he was bleeding severely.

  After that Tejsavi took him up from the floor, and thrown him out of the cave using all his strength. Thereafter, he rushed towards Tribhuj and ascended on his chest.

  Tribhuj was very close to his death, and he could feel it. His eyes were filled with fear. Tejasvi ascended on his chest and attacked his chest with his sharp nails, and bursts it down. Seeing the dead body of the one of the sibling of the demon king, all the demons started rushing towards a safe place to save their lives.

  But no one noticed a shadow in a black cloth, which was staring at Tejasvi hiding behind the tree. That shadow thought in his mind.

  'Tribhuj is dead, that's good. All three parts of my plan accomplished.'

  The sacrifice for Vijay Dhanush

  Soon that unknown person in black cloths reached a huge palace and entered in it. The guards lied down on their knees seeing him.

  That person soon appeared in front of twenty yards higher throne of the'Demon King Markesh'. Seeing him, Markesh stepped down from his throne and came nearer to him.

  'Welcome, welcome Guru Bhairavnath.' Markesh was furious, then also he joined his hands in front of his Gurudev.

  'Can I know the reason of your anger, Markesh?' Bhairavnath questioned Markesh.

  'Oh, the reason of anger, you are asking me the reason of anger, Gurudev. Three of my brothers are dead because of you, why shouldn't I get angry? I am asking you, why you helped Tejasvi and his brothers to kill my three brothers Adheem, Tribhuj and Danshak?' Demon King was furious.

  'Calm down, Markesh. I am your mentor, and I have only one motive behind this, to increase your strength.'

  'My brothers are dead, how my strength will increase through the death of my brothers, Gurudev.' Markesh was still furious.

  'Not only your brothers, I have sacrificed my brother Taraknath too, just to increase your strength.'

  After this statement of demon's mentor, Markesh got calm down up to some extent.

  'But why you have done this, Gurudev?'

  'Just look at yourself, Demon King Markesh. Who are you? What are you? A warrior who got defeated by Vikramajit several times. Your three siblings Danshak, Tribhuj and Adheem were born on the same date, on which you were born, only years were different. So after their demise, all their strength can be merged in your body.

  'But… but how this is possible?' Markesh was astonished.

  'Take this divine fruit, and eat it. You'll get to know about it.'

  Markesh was astonished, but then also he followed his mentor Bhairavnath and ate that fruit.

  Thereafter, there was a sudden change in his body, he felt tremendous power in his body.

  'Now feel the strength and power inside you, Demon King Markesh. You have the strength of hundreds of Elephants. The strength and elusive powers of Adheem, Tribhuj and Danshak has merged in your body. Now the venom of that Serpent Yugandhar can never affect you, because the venom of Danshak is in your body.'

  'I can feel this energy inside me, Gurudev. But I want to ask you a question. Tribhuj had almost killed Tejasvi. Tejasvi, who is destinated to kill me, then why you saved him?'

  'That's the question mark for me too, Markesh. I have impersonated as 'Kalnemi' to help Tejasvi. For the demise of Danshak I turned as' Vindheshwar' and guided Yugandhar, and also I turned as 'Prajapati' to help Suryam. But believe me, neither I have treated Yugandhar, when he was injured nor I have healed the wounds of Tejasvi, it was some another power. When Tribhuj stabbed Tejasvi, he falls on the ground. I was present there, but suddenly a mist appeared in the environment and Tejasvi disappeared from that place. I searched him a lot, and I reached the cave where he was, but till then his wounds were healed. Like that only, I reached Yugandhar when he gained his consciousness. It seems that someone is there, who is helping them. Otherwise, it could not be a coincidence that I found both of them, only when they both gained their consciousness as well as their health. I have helped those three warriors to kill your three siblings, but I have not saved their life. An unknown power has entered in Patallok, who is helping them. I am still not getting what type of power it is?'

  'Then we have to find it out, Gurudev.'

  'It's not the matter of discussion right now, Demon King. Your strength has definitely increased, but if all the four fierce warriors Akhand, Tejasvi, Yugandhar and Suryam will attack you together, then you can be defeated.'

  'Akhand,.. Akhand, what shall I do with him, Gurudev. He is my scion, my grandson, and my most eligible successor. When he raise his weapons against Asuras, my heart bursts. Perhaps, you must have not sent Bhanusen as your messenger in Vidarbh's clan, then the fierce warrior Mahabali Akhand would have been fighting from our side.'

  'Things can't be changed now, Markesh. Right now we have to think about that venomous warrior Yugandhar. Soon your palace will surely face a raid, for the sake of Vijay Dhanush. If we succeed in keeping that Yugandhar out of the war, then we'll surely win this war.'

  'But before that, I have to accomplish a job, Gurudev. I have to sacrifice one lakh Kshatriya warriors in front of my Kuldevi, on this full moon night. If I succeed, then I'll receive an infinite power. But I need two more warriors for this sacrifice, then only my mission will succeed.'

  'How will you bring other Kshatriyas? All your siblings are dead, Hidimb is weak now, and you cannot leave this place, because it's about the security of Vijay Dhanush.'

  'Then what shall I do, Gurudev?'

  'I'll arrange the warriors for this sacrifice, Markesh. I have to go now, it's the time for one more game.'

  'As you wish, Gurudev.'

  As Naagish said, the journey to reach the area of Demon King Markesh was very tough and time taking. Yugandhar and Suvarya were travelling since seventeen days. At last with the help of Naagish they reached the area of the Demon King Markesh.

  'My journey is over, Naagraj Yugandhar, you are now in the kingdom of the Demon King Markesh, his palace is ten miles away in the western direction from here. I've done my job, I want to leave now.'

  'It's ok Naagish, you can leave.' On his request Yugandhar freed him, he set out from that place.
